Monthly Readiness Guide-example

Reflect:
(previous month)
1.  How have I grown in:

1a.  Relationship with God:
a.  Here write about the things that God has revealed to you about Himself in the past month.  What are the things God has done or is still doing in your life.
b.  If you're having a difficult time filling this section out then that could be an indicator of sin in your life that is a barrier between you and God.

1b.  Physical/Health Goals:
a.  Use this space to reflect on the physical and health goals you set last month
b.  Did you reach your goals?
c.  What things kept you from achieving your goals?  It might be good to re-evaluate whether your goals were realistic so you don't make the same mistake in the next month.
d.  If you achieved all your goals maybe you should consider setting harder goals, you may be setting the bar too low for yourself.

1c.  Professional Goals:
a.  Reflect on the goals you've set for yourself at work or in your career.
b.  Were the goals qualitative or quantitative?  Were the goals you set dependent on the actions and attitudes of other people?
c.  Did you have any control over the areas you set your goals in?  If you set goals to change things in your workplace that you have no ability to influence, reset your goals and limit the scope to things that are within your influence.  Another possibility is setting goals to increase or change your sphere of influence so you can have an impact in the areas at work that you would like to change

1d.  Relationships w/ Believers:
a.  How did you grow in your relationship with specific believers?  Do you know the needs, concerns, and story of Christians that frequent your life?
b.  How have you shown love and care for specific believers in your life?

1e.  Relationships w/Unsaved:
a.  Do you know any unsaved people?
b.  If you haven't been developing relationships with unsaved people, why not?
c.  Do the unsaved people in your life know that you love and care for them?
d.  Do they know that you love and follow Jesus?  How have you shown others that your relationship Jesus affects the way you live?

2.  What activities took up most of my time at:
(so you know what kept you from achieving goals in full, or what activities, places, people were conducive to helping you achieve your goals)

What are the places in life you frequent and spend lots of time in?  Be honest with yourself about how you've spent your time so that you know which places you may need to visit less.  The same goes with people, maybe there are people that you need to see less because you become unproductive in accomplishing the responsibilities you have.  On the other hand, maybe there have been places you've visited that allowed you to focus and be very productive.  There maybe people that pushed you and allowed you to accomplish your tasks and maybe improve.  Be intentional about spending time in those places and with those people.
