Tonight I have the opportunity to speak to the students at Christian Challenge. We will be continuing our series "Portraits." Tonight we discuss God's Promises through the life of David.
Our goal tonight using 2 Samuel 7, is to clearly communicate to our students that God is infinitely more concerned with the work that He does in our lives than in what we think we can do for Him. God is the author and perfector of our faith. He is the creator of the Universe and all things are only possible in and through Him.
Secondly that God's promises are revelations of His love and ultimately what God desires above anything we do is to Love Him.
So please pray as that as the students come to grab hold of that they will come to a place of praise like David. That they will accept His Promise of Love.
