So they finally gave us a hard time for leave. The 23rd -26th. They said se have an accountability formation at 0900 on the 27th but get this. They want us to sign in on the 26th at 1159pm. Thing is they only gave us this information today and are making us sign this contract. But people have already booked tickets and made travel plans and some people won't be getting in till later on the 27th. So what's going on is if you don't sign in on time they charge you 5 days of leave. And that's a lot of money. So your flight can come in at 12midnight and you can be on time for the 9am formation but if you don't sign in on time they charge you 5 days pay. What makes this so upsetting is that the command already had hard dates weeks ago but only decided to tell us today!
I have to sucessfully render medical aid and run an IV the first time tmr in the midst of gunfire explosions, wearing 100 lbs of gear with 3 generals watching or my company doesn't validate!
Pressure! Pressure! Pressure! Pray I do well!
